We will visit your home to provide a free estimate and arrange a date for the big day. We recommend a visit at your home in order to get a clear understanding of your requirements (packing, unpacking and also additional services like cleaning or redecorating old and new place) and to provide you with an accurate quotation for your move. The visit takes no longer than an hour. During the visit you can discuss wrapping and packing requirements and any other concerns you may have. It’s always useful to give as much information as possible during this visit. Following your survey you will be sent a quotation and acceptance form and a move plan. Your move plan will contain all of the details relating to your move.

We do as much or as little as you choose – each quotation is tailored to individual requirements, from a minimum arrangement fee of £500.

Whether you are moving your complete house, home contents or just one or two items. We can arrange a full or partial packing and unpacking service and provide all cartons/materials necessary, including wardrobe boxes. This could mean packing everything in your home, from the contents of your kitchen or garage, to emptying wardrobes and drawers. Or maybe, you will choose a partial packing facility, where we pack only certain elements, such as china and glassware.

Once you are satisfied with your quotation and move plan, you will need to book your move with us at your earliest convenience. Bookings are taken all the time so availability may change day-by-day and even by the hour.

We can take payment by cheque, cash or bank transfer.

As soon as you receive an acceptance form, check all the details, sign and date the form confirming the date and time you need to be out of your home and the date and time you will have access to your new home. It is important that you check that the move plan is correct. Finally, post or email this back to us together with your cheque or payment details.

Parking. 
Providing parking is the responsibility of the customer (try to reserve a space for the van outside before it arrives or call the local council and get a suspension or permit where necessary) if there is no parking pre -arranged any parking fines received will be the responsibility of the customer and must be paid by the customer on completion. It is your responsibility to ensure that there is suitable access for our vehicle at both collection and delivery addresses to avoid any delays on the day of the move.

Congestion
There will be an extra charge when passing through the London Congestion Charge Zone, other congestion charge zones and tolls will be charged accordingly (unless otherwise stated) .

Payments
Danielle cleaning service will require of 40{2526b83b2fbd575a5cc45034ea611c3569f489dce178a4ab74812cb026c3f0aa} deposit of agreed price. Payment must be made on completion. All cheques should be made payable to: Danielle cleaning service.

Arrival / Delivery Times
Danielle cleaning service will do their best to arrive within the time scale stated, however arrival times are estimated. Delays to pick-up/delivery times are sometimes unavoidable (due to traffic accidents, weather etc). We do not accept any responsibility for any customer loses due to unforeseen or out of our control delivery/pick-up delays.

Changes in item numbers
You may incur extra charges if the actual amount of items on the day exceeds the amount of items that were included in your quote, a couple of boxes more would not normally cause an issue, however if you have under-estimated your items by more than this we will add on an extra charge depending on the amount of items and time taken to load them. If you have grossly under-estimated or have been misleading about the amount of articles you have, we have the right to refuse assistance on the day.

Your packing Responsibilities
Danielle cleaning service accept no responsibility for damage or breakage to items that have not been packed or protected by adequate means. It is the customer’s responsibility to dismantle any unit, system, flat pack furniture and beds and this should be done before our arrival.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that items will fit in the new premises (e.g.: size of sofa and size of aperture) our drivers will not be insured to remove doors or windows in such cases and it is up to the customer to organize a specialist if needed.

Awkward Access
You will incur extra charges if you have not informed us of awkward access. Awkward access can include, no vehicle access, no parking available in close proximity to the property and cramped stair and hallway conditions where large items of furniture will not fit.

Unforeseen Circumstances
Danielle cleaning service reserves the right to add extra costs due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g.: waiting for keys or gaining entry, incorrect addresses, removal of windows and so on).

Postponement or Cancellation
If you postpone or cancel after your booking is confirmed you will be charged 10{2526b83b2fbd575a5cc45034ea611c3569f489dce178a4ab74812cb026c3f0aa} no less then £75 of the confirmed quote. If you postpone or cancel within 48hours of the date of the job you will be charged the value of the job in full. Danielle cleaning service reserves the right to cancel or change dates and times.

Moving can be stressful enough without packing and wrapping everything you have into boxes before you move. Danielle cleaning service is offering a full packing service and can send experienced packing staff to your home a day or two before you actually move. You don’t even have to be there.

HOW TO PACK:

• don’t make boxes too heavy
• pack fragile items with plenty of wrapping (blankets, towels, bubble wrap). Mark these boxes – FRAGILE
• pack CDs and records vertically NOT flat
• remove lids from jars and wrap separately
• take large items apart if possible. Put any hardware e.g. screws in a plastic bag and tape to the item
• if you have the original boxes for electrical appliances pack them back into these cover mirrors and pictures in cardboard or bubble wrap
• roll carpets and rugs and secure with tape
• wrap sharp edges on items
• pack all personal documents or valuable jewellery/items together and transport them yourself
• if you have the time, a master list of what is in each box can be helpful
• you don’t want to move everything twice so mark all boxes with the names of the rooms for which they are intended. Give movers a plan of your new home with all the rooms
• clearly marked. You might even consider a colour-coded system. Give each room a colour and write on the box in the same colour pen
